In the early 1960s, The Yardbirds found their early repertoire from vinyl collections of American blues like many contemporary British bands of the day.The Yardbirds used a template of creating replicas of their blues favourites by incorporating an impressive solo platform for their guitarist, which in this collection alternates between the likes of Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton.
This limited edition Record Store Day 2024 release compiles Rare B sides, rarities and oddities that have never before featured on one comprehensive format.
Audio has been mastered from the original mono single mixdown tapes and mastered to vinyl by Phil Kinrade at Air Studios.
