LP Cherry Red vinyl

Limited edition. Exclusive release for RECORD STORE DAY 2025

1000 copies only worldwide on cherry red vinyl. The Men They Couldn’t Hang release their classic album The Cherry Red Jukebox on vinyl! Recorded at Fortress Studios, London N1, in the winter of 2002, and dedicated to the memory of Joe Strummer, this album was originally available on CD only. Now, for the first time, it’s been beautifully pressed on limited edition cherry red vinyl. This impressive release brings out the wild magnificence and high jinks of those sessions.  The songs are full of energy and passion. There is a cinematic quality to the songs which tell tales based on characters that inhabit the smoky world of these rebellious musicians and are once again brought to life in this crucial release. As The Men They Couldn’t Hang so aptly put it - 'The roots, rock, rebel rave is never wrong.' The Band: Stefan Cush - Vocals / Electric Guitar. Phil Odgers - Vocals / Acoustic Guitar. Paul Simmonds - Electric / Acoustic Guitar. Ricky McGuire – Bass. The Guests: Andy Selway – Drums. Dave Kent - Harmonica, Keyboards and Backing Vocals. Bobby Valentino – Fiddle. Clive Pain [‘Slim’] – Accordion. Merrill Cush - Guest Vocals on Silver Gun.

The Track List: Side 1. 1 The Sunrise. 2 Singing Elvis. 3 Rivertown. 4 Silver Gun. 5 The Red Rocks Of Spain. Side 2 6 Ride Again. 7 The Hill. 8 Colwyn Bay. 9 Highwater. 10 I Loved The Summer Of Hate. 11 10 Grand.
